Hudson Map
Hudson is a city in Summit County, Ohio, United States. The population was 22,262 at the 2010 census. It is an affluent exurban community and is part of the Akron, Ohio Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is also part of the larger Cleveland-Akron-Elyria Combined Statistical Area.
The city is named after its founder, David Hudson, who settled there from Goshen, Connecticut in 1799, when it was part of the Connecticut Western Reserve.
The Underground Railroad passed through Hudson, and the town was the childhood home of John Brown after his family moved there in 1805.
