Sleep Disorders Center At Hillcrest is a diagnostic health center. It performs polysomnograms on sleeping patients through the use of electrodes to measure brain waves, eye movement, metabolic rates and body movement. This testing can be used to diagnose such conditions as sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, periodic restless leg syndrome, dystonia and circadian rhythm disorders, as well as other sleep-related conditions. The center is operated by licensed nurses and board-certified physicians.
