Bethesda Foundation, formed in 1974, is a nonprofit foundation that supports Bethesda Hospital and its entities by cultivating philanthropic support for patient services, facilities, program and service development, indigent care, medical education and research. The mission of Bethesda Foundation is to help ensure that Bethesda Hospital has the resources needed to successfully accomplish its strategic vision and meet the health care challenges facing the large, growing community it serves. The foundation publishes Healthy Foundations, a quarterly publication of Bethesda Hospital, and Bethesda Foundation, which has the goal to provide an overview of the many activities that occur every day at Bethesda to improve the health of its community. The foundation is committed to updating its various constituencies on projects, services and resources to aid them in their continuing quest for healthier living. The foundation is located in Cincinnati.
