Founded in February 1898, Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization. Based in Wapakoneta, Ohio, it has over 850,000 members, with more than 1,400 local Aeries in the United States and Canada. The organization comprises over 1,300, women's auxiliaries, with more than 250,000 members. Fraternal Order of Eagles raises funds for eight major charities, such as kidney, heart, diabetes, cancer and spinal cord injury funds, a children's fund, memorial foundation and the Golden Eagle Fund.
