I'm so glad I chose the family business because I got to spend so much time with my father, who passed away in 2009, and learn from him. After all these years, customers still come to us with new questions we've never been asked. He taught me to love the challenge of finding new solutions! Many of our new customers were referred to our store by a friend who had a good shopping experience with our staff, Mike added. We feel an obligation to our staff to provide a safe, fun working environment where they are treated fairly. It must be working: two of our salespeople have been with us for over 25 years! We also feel a responsibility to provide jobs in the Greenville community, says Mike. It's a challenge when things break, Marlise admits.
