Division of Environmental Health offers a wide range of environmental programs for the health and welfare of the citizens within the general health district of Cuyahoga County District Board of Health. These programs deal with a variety of issues, including food, water, air, soil and the disposal of wastes. Division of Environmental Health combines traditional inspection programs with various other technical programs. It offers various programs, such as food protection, solid waste, private water systems, rodent and mosquito control, rabies prevention, and tattoo and body piercing regulation. It works closely with local municipal officials to address the needs of its residents and to assist them in planning the future of its communities. The division also works with other county, regional, statewide and national agencies involved with public health and environmental issues. It is located in Cleveland.
