Formed in 1928, the Dresden Volunteer Fire Department is a full-service public safety agency that works to provide fire prevention and suppression, rescue and emergency medical services. Its range of apparatus includes engines, tankers, grass trucks, squads, and command and rescue vehicles. The department conducts various fire prevention and public education programs. The Dresden Volunteer Fire Department is comprised of more than 45 members. Located in Dresden, Ohio, it also operates a training division.
