Dominion Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. The school offers instruction in Spanish, technology, instrumental and vocal music, and health and physical education. It provides classes in language arts, science, social studies and math. The school offers opportunities to participate in athletic activities, such as baseball, soccer, volleyball and softball. Dominion Middle School also publishes a weekly academic newsletter. The school operates a parent-teacher-student organization that sponsors an annual scholarship, fundraising events and several awards, as well as conducts field trips and dance events. It provides learning opportunities for deaf students. In addition, the school operates chess, engineering, drama and newspaper clubs. Its cafeteria offers a vegetarian menu and salad bar. Dominion Middle School is a part of Columbus City Schools.
