Crooked Tree Vineyard, located on the Southeast shore of Kelleys Island, Ohio, was established in 2013 by Janet and Steve Wermuth. With the help of their friends and family, they planted Cabernet Franc vines and harvested their first grapes in 2016. Since then, they have focused on creating red wines that they enjoy drinking and sharing with friends, including their Cabernet Franc and Raccoon Red varietals.
Crooked Tree Vineyard takes pride in their handcrafted wines, made from their own grapes. They offer a range of wines, from the herbaceous and dry Cabernet Franc to the slightly fruity and herbaceous blend of Cabernet Franc and Chambourcin in their Raccoon Red. They also have Island Blossom White, Four Sisters Red, Island Rosé, Whitecaps, Eagles Eyrie, and Windchime Chardonnay, each with its own unique story and flavor profile.
