Community Caregivers, established in 1998, offers a variety of health care services. Its range of services includes personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, nursing case management, and hospice and companionship. The agency has contracted with the Area Agency on Aging to participate in the Passport Program, as well as Mercy Home Care and Hospice, which is a division of the Mercy Medical Center. Headquartered in Akron, Ohio, Community Caregivers maintains more than five service facilities in Ohio, including one in Hartville. It also provides assistance to clients with basic errands, such as grocery shopping, going to the post office, making deposits at banks and picking up prescriptions.
