Collins Career Center, founded in 1976 and located in Chesapeake, Ohio, is a technical education center. It serves more than seven public high schools, including Chesapeake High School, Dawson Bryant High School, Fairland High School, Ironton, Rock Hill High School and St. Joseph School. The center has an enrollment of more than 7,000 students in areas, such as career development and enhancement, customized training and agency contracts. Its adult education department offers more than 20 programs, including English, physics, math, chemistry, geography, history, computer and physical education. The center also has an adult education department that provides training in long-term career preparation, short-term skills courses, and customized training for local business and industries. The center additionally offers programs in various fields of computer technology, health, protective services, and trade and industry.
