Purchased by Matthew Rombach in 1855, the mid-1800s residence is now know as the Clinton County History Center/Society. Often also referred to as Rombach Place Museum, the museum features rotating exhibits that highlight different artifacts/textiles in the collection and history of Clinton County. Exhibits also include the largest collection of Eli Harvey paintings and sculptures; Carl Moon photographs; artifacts of General Denver’s military and political career; medical and dental instruments; children’s toys; prehistoric Indian relics and more.
