The Clague Playhouse started out in the early 1900s as a traveling theater group performing in church basements, school gyms and auditoriums. Soon it had the opportunity to lease the space which is now known as the Clague Playhouse. Its mission is to present quality entertainment and to provide an educational environment for all ages through the art of theater. Clague Playhouse has served the Westlake community by raising the awareness of cultural arts for more than 80 years. It's a nonprofit organization served by countless hours of volunteer help. Located on Clague Road, Clague Playhouse offers five plays per year.
