The department maintains records of public, nonpublic, joint vocational, community, and rehabilitative and correctional schools. The Ohio Department of Education also documents information related to school districts and educational service center, as well as monitors academic performance of students. It provides learning support solutions for literacy improvement, gifted education, food and nutrition, family and community engagement, and safe and supportive learning.
