The Willowick Police Department works to safeguard lives and property, maintain law and order, and preserve peace through the enforcement of local, state and federal laws. It has a communication center that coordinates responses to various emergency and nonemergency calls. The department undertakes cases related to juvenile crime, animal control, drug abuse and domestic violence. The Willowick Police supports the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program.
