As a clinical psychologist, I have a strong background and focus in health psychology and, more specifically, the subspecialties of bariatric surgery, behavioral weight management and eating disorders. Most of my work at Ohio State involves providing assessment and treatment to bariatric surgery patient strive to foster relationships with my patients that are grounded in safety and trust, and create a space that is supportive and collaborative. I use evidence-based cognitive and behavioral therapies to help my patients with lifestyle modification so that they may experience optimal outcomes and adjustment with bariatric surgery, as well as improvement in their overall quality of lif he most rewarding part of my job is working with patients and observing the effect of integrated care on their health and quality of life. I love working at Ohio State because it allows me to collaborate and communicate as a member of a dedicated multidisciplinary tea n my free time, I enjoy relaxing with my family, friend, and pet Pomapoo, and spending time outdoors.
