In January of 1981 the Fairfield County Council for the Disabled was established as a non-profit organization. In January of 1993, United Cerebral Palsy and the Fairfield County Council for the Disabled merged to create Fairfield Center for disAbilities and Cerebral Palsy, Inc. (FCdCP).
