Adams County Regional Water, founded in 1969, provides a safe, potable source of water to more than 18,000 people in Adams County, Ohio. It supplies water from 75-foot deep wells that are drilled into the Ohio River Valley Aquifer. The district provides various links on its Web site related to companies, associations, districts, municipalities and governmental organizations offering water and educational services in the county. Its Web site also provides service fee schedule and rate schedule per 1,000 gallons. The district is governed by a board of trustees that regularly meets each month. The district complies with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency regulations, and offers 24-hour, seven-days a week service. Adams County Regional Water is open Monday through Friday, and is located in West Union, Ohio.
