Lovelock Map
Lovelock is a city in western Nevada that is the county seat of Pershing County, the location of a prison, and the namesake of the area's Cold War gunnery range.
Lovelock lies in the Lovelock Valley of the Humboldt River Basin. The Lovelock Native Cave is a horseshoe-shaped cave of about 35 ft wide (11 m) and 150 ft long (46 m) that is 20 miles (32 km) from Lovelock and where Northern Paiute natives deposited a number of duck decoys. The Lovelock Speedway is a 1/4 mile dirt track.
