Founded in 1914, Scranton Equity provides agriculture production-related services to its members. It is one of the largest, independent farm cooperatives in North Dakota. The cooperative maintains the Frontier Travel Center, which features a trucker's lounge and convenience store. Its agronomy division sells chemical and fertilizer products to clients in southwestern North Dakota and northwestern South Dakota. The cooperative also offers fertilizer blending, soil testing and crop protection solutions. It maintains a fuel and farm department that provides livestock equipment, painting supplies, and lumber and hardware products. Scranton Equity additionally operates seed, feed and grain divisions. The cooperative s tire, truck and tractor repair department provides oil change solutions.
