HistoryOur church was started in 1986 with a desire to share the love of Christ with the residents of Dickinson. Each year the church continues to worship God through connecting on Sunday morning worship, growing deeper in the word of God, and reaching into the community of Dickinson with acts of service. Lighthouse Church exists to serve the people of this community. We want to be a light to all those needing love, help and encouragement.SpecialtiesLighthouse Church of God is a family worship church. We believe that Jesus Christ lived, died and rose again for us. That God is on His throne watching over lives and that the Holy Spirit is guiding us each and everyday. We believe that God loves you and wants the best for you and your family. God chose this time to write your name in history. You have a destiny and a purpose. If there one thing people comment about our church, is that the presence of God is in the house. You can feel God when you worship here. We are a multi-generational church, that means we have individuals and family in their golden years to new born babies. We are a causal to business causal dress. You can come in jeans and a nice shirt and feel right at home. We do modern worship with contemporary music with a band and worshiper leaders. We have a very exciting children's and youth ministry. If you were to join us on a Sunday at 10am, you'd be greeted by some very friendly people. Karibu coffee and doughnuts are served every Sunday morning. The whole family joins in for worship and then the children are dismissed for a high energy message and games of their own. Many of our teens help our children's leaders with children's church. Adults stay in the sanctuary for a great sermon and time in pray in the altar. We invite you to come on by and check us out every Sunday at 10 am
