History
The Hi Ho was founded in 1947 by Glenn Tollefson. He started with an idea to make simple and delicious burgers. Unsure what to name his new restaurant, he sat down with to have his favorite snack, Hi Ho crackers and the Hi Ho was born. Glenn ran the Hi Ho, serving only Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers and French Fries until Earl and Edith Cariveau took over in 1960. In 1977, Rick and Cathy Cariveau took over, and have been running it since. What is the trick to a delicious Hi Ho burger? There is none. Our meat is fresh, never frozen and pattied especially for the Hi Ho. We use local fresh buns and that's all! Serve a Hi Ho burger up with a delicious 1919 Root Beer and you have a meal you will remember for a lifetime!
