Grand Forks Park District is a local government agency located in Grand Forks, N.D. It specializes in providing parks, recreation, forestry and environmental services to promote natural environment and economic development of its community. It operates a forestry department that is responsible for planting trees, reforestation in park district parks, removal of hazard and diseased trees, pest control and consulting services to homeowners on care of trees and shrubs. Its parks department maintains more than 850 acres of land, which includes over 40 parks and facilities. It also provides indoor ice facilities, such as Purpur, Gambucci, Eagles and Blue Line Club arenas for skating opportunities. The district offers Elks Pool that features swimming and diving areas, waterslides, baby pools and changing areas. It also includes a nine-hole golf course that provides green and chipping area, snack bar and beverage counter, pro shop, and a three-hole kid course.
