John Griffin Middle School
John Griffin Middle School is a public school that is governed by Cumberland County Schools and is located in Fayetteville, N.C. The school has an enrollment of nearly 1,300 students in grades six through eight. It has a staff of more than 95 full-time certified teachers that provides classes in science, reading, social studies, math and communication skills. In addition, it offers instruction in orchestra, chorus, band, drama, technical education, business technology, Spanish, life skills, and health and physical education. John Griffin Middle School organizes various cocurricular activities, such as a Science Olympiad, Battle of the Books, Beta Club, math counts, civic oration, forensics, quiz bowl and geography bee.
