Established in January 2019 The Hackney is located in a beautifully restored form bank building dating from the 1920's. Inside its elegant main hall 2024 James Beard Finalist Chef Jamie Davis's team serve up a sophisticated take on modern coastal cuisine on an ever changing menu. The emphasis in on local sourced, seasonal ingredients, especially seafood, and simple presentations. The Hackney also features a gin distillery with tasting and tours and a stunning bar serving up an innovative range of house-made cocktails, with a focus on gin (of course), a carefully curated wine list and a range of North Carolina craft beers.
