HistoryCity Gallery Fine Art had it's origins in the summer of 2005, when friends Becky Guynn, Penny Mosley, Theresa and Bob Lazo decided to open the co-op art gallery to afford local artists a place to show their work. They found, bought and remodeled a storefront in downtown Galax. Since its inception, the Gallery has been a thriving enterprise showing upwards of 25 artists work at any one time. Over 100 artists have presented their work in the Gallery since its beginning and the Gallery has played a role in the revitalization of downtown Galax.SpecialtiesWe invite you to come in and enjoy our wonderful display of fine arts and fine crafts and meet one of the artisans working that day.
