Established in 1974, TEXMAC is a subsidiary of Japan-based ITOCHU Corporation. TEXMAC is a member of ITOCHU's machinery group division. The company is engaged in the import and export of a broad spectrum of machines, ranging from pocket calculators to satellites. As a leader in the import and export of textile machinery, TEXMAC is also engaged in the development of new markets in semi-conductor, printed circuit board, composite material, ceramic, plastic, air bag, film and apparel machinery. With headquarters in Charlotte, N.C., TEXMAC maintains other branch operations in Cranbury, N.J., and Santa Clara, Calif.
