Swain County High School is a college-preparatory school that offers academic classes to more than 550 students in grades nine through 12. It is operated by the Swain County Schools and is located in Bryson City, N.C. The school offers a variety of sports activities, such as volleyball, softball, soccer, football, swimming, cross country, track and field and cheerleading. It offers a wide range of academic courses, such as English, math, social studies, business, computer technology, science, language arts, and health and physical education. Swain County High School has a library media center that offers a wide collection of Internet resources, books, magazines and newspapers to stimulate the intellectual development of students and staff.
