When I was younger, I always wanted to make a difference in the world, and through medicine, I can. I love to help children grow and prosper into healthy, well-rounded, young adults. My philosophy of care first starts with looking at the patient as a whole. There are many factors in a child’s life that can affect a situation. I strive my best to take time and listen. This usually helps to lead to the best possible outcome of a happy and healthy child. I like to work with children all ages, but I do hold a special place in my heart for children with complex health needs such as G-tubes, ostomies and learning disabilities. In my free time, I cherish spending time with my family and friends. My three very active boys keep me busy most weeknights and weekends. I am usually cheering them on from a sideline. In addition, I love to travel and try to do this much as time and money allows.
