Southeastern Regional Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services is a comprehensive behavioral health care organization. It serves the southeastern North Carolina counties of Bladen, Columbus, Robeson and Scotland. Founded in 1964, the organization conducts various programs for children and adults. Its programs are designed to assist people to increase their skills and abilities, improve the lives of persons and families suffering from substance abuse and help restore a positive outlook. Located in Lumberton, N.C., the organization provides a range of outpatient, inpatient, day treatment, case management, substance abuse, crisis intervention, respite care, supervised living, residential treatment, and consultation and educational services. It also provides assertive community treatment and several vocational services.
