Hopewell High School
Founded in 2001, Hopewell High School has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students in grades 9 through 12. The school s amenities include a cafeteria, library media center, gymnasium, computer lab, and art and music rooms. Its core curriculum includes fine arts, math, health and physical education, science, English, family and consumer science, technology and social studies. In addition, the school offers a range of advanced placement and college-preparatory courses along with high-tech computer education courses. It maintains various clubs, including French, Spanish, table tennis, sports medicine, book, psychology, film and environmental. The school also maintains Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Family Career Community Leaders of America, Future Business Leaders of America and Health Occupations Students of America teams. It organizes several athletic activities that include football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, and track and field. Hopewell High School is affiliated with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and is located in Huntersville, N.C.
