SBC is a locally owned, family operated business in the heart of Downtown Waxhaw. Michael, SBC's VP, has grown up in construction all his life. As a young boy, he worked with his grandfather building houses in the community. After college he joined and ran ABC Supply Company of Charlotte for 21 years. Michael remembers the value he saw in building a house or remodeling an old tobacco barn. His partner in life, Clancy, who grew up in Fairfield County, Connecticut, also came from a construction background. She remembers watching her mother work for a local construction company as an Administrative Assistant. She learned the business and several years later opened the first female-owned construction company in Connecticut. Michael and Clancy decided they wanted to impact the community and see Waxhaw, and the surrounding areas, as just the place to embark on their journey. SBC is excited to embrace, to give back and to work alongside the community.
