Bethesda Christian Academy
Bethesda Christian Academy, a ministry of Bethesda Baptist Church, offers educational and extracurricular programs for children in grades kindergarten through eight. A member of the Association of Christian Schools International, Bethesda employs state-certified teachers, and follows a Bible-based curriculum. The school features a state-of-the-art computer laboratory, library and media center, and a large playground. It conducts a wide variety of seminars, summer youth camps and church organized retreats. Bethesda s curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, foreign languages, history, geography, economics, physical and health education, music, and arts and crafts. The school provides numerous sports programs, such as girl s and boy s basketball, cheerleading, baseball, tennis, badminton, swimming, soccer and softball. Its cocurricular activities include knowledge bowl, junior-senior banquet, scholastic scrimmage, state fine arts and academic competitions, band and choir concerts, and National Honor Society.
