HistoryThe first service was held in January 1996. The church became affiliated with the Diocese of North Carolina in 2001. A growing congregation, GEC has met at East Clayton Elementary, Clayton High and an old bank building on Business 70. The church moved into its current location in 2001 when it outgrew its previous space.SpecialtiesGEC is a real church for real people.
