NC State College of Veterinary Medicine is a learning center that offers a variety of academic programs and activities. The college maintains a staff of more than 140 faculty members and serves over 80 graduate students and nearly 60 interns and residents. Its staff members are involved in various public engagement activities, including research with practical applications for animal care, agribusiness and human health purposes. NC State College of Veterinary Medicine provides educational programs in the areas of molecular biomedical science, population health and pathobiology, comparative medicine and translational research, and chemical toxicology and pharmacokinetics. In addition, the college offers several types of student services, such as financial aid and scholarship information, career counseling, event coordination and student health.
