HistoryElizabeth and Thomas met while studying music at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After he got his Masters in Opera Performance at Oklahoma City University, they relocated back to Chapel Hill to teach and coach piano and voice. Both came from athletic backgrounds and wished there was a school that taught artists to use their whole instruments as part of their training. They decided to open a school that taught not only music, but how the body affects and is affected by music. Thus Balanced Music School was born. They now teach everything from alignment, to performance, to practice habits through the lens of music.SpecialtiesBalanced Music Studios teaches piano and voice lessons to all ages and skill levels!
