Specialties
Keeper's Cut Meadery is a family-owned business making traditional and flavored mead from our production facility, tasting room, and event space in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We currently have the largest mead tasting room in North Carolina! We are open to the public Wednesday-Sunday in lovely downtown Marion, in the Historic Depot District, and feature a tasting bar with indoor seating as well as a dog-friendly patio. In addition to our wine-style and draft meads, we serve cocktails, charcuterie, snacks and soft drinks. You are also welcome to bring in your own food to enjoy here at Keeper's Cut, or order in from a local restaurant. While you are here, be sure to try some honey made by the Keeper's Cut bees, or take along a box of our family's gourmet chocolates to pair with your favorite meads. Our educational 'Bee to Bottle' tours will begin in early 2020. We are family-friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere enjoyable for all ages. Older children and adults enjoy connecting over a game of checkers, chess, cards, backgammon, or mancala on the beautiful antique game tables in our Fountain Room. Our 3,200sf Mead Hall is available for weddings, receptions, showers, parties, meetings, audio and video recordings, and more, seven days a week.
