Neal Middle School is a part of Durham Public Schools. Located in Durham, N.C., the school serves more than 850 students. It is a site school for the federal 21st Century After-school Community Learning Center. The school provides a variety of academic, cocurricular and extracurricular activities for students. It offers a student-centered academic interdisciplinary learning lab program for gifted students. Neal Middle School provides advanced classes and a range of special elective courses, such as foreign languages, forensics, chess, drama and math counts.
