Internal medicine practitioners
Jennifer Woody, FNP-C
I have worked with orthopaedic patients at UNC since 2003, first as a nursing assistant and student, for 5 years as a nurse, and as a nurse practitioner since 2009. As a nurse practitioner, I see patients both in our OrthoNow walk-in clinic and in regularly scheduled clinics. I enjoy caring for individuals of all ages with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions including joint pain, sprains, strains, fractures, osteoarthritis, tendinitis, and back and neck pain. I have an interest in non-operative treatment of foot and ankle conditions, working closely with our orthopaedic surgeons to coordinate care when surgery is indicated. I believe that providing great care requires listening to and respecting patients and taking their preferences into consideration. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids. We love hiking and exploring new places.
