The International Association of Rebekah Assemblies, also known as the IARA, is a service-oriented organization and a branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Originally designed as the female auxiliary of the IOOF, the Rebekahs now allow both female and male members and do not require any relation to an Odd Fellow. With a history dating back to 1851, the Rebekahs aim to promote peace, do good unto all, and live by the Golden Rule.
The Rebekahs offer opportunities for members to develop enduring friendships, be involved in leadership training, and make a positive impact in their communities. By embracing the principles of Friendship, Love, and Truth, becoming a Rebekah can lead to a more purposeful life, inner satisfaction, and a warm welcome in unfamiliar places. With a focus on charity and humanitarianism, the Rebekahs strive to bring happiness to others and promote peace on earth.
