Hoke County High School is a college-preparatory school that provides educational programs to students in grades 9 through 12. Its core curriculum includes English, foreign languages, science, social science, art and physical education. In addition, it operates the ACE Academy, which teaches agriculture, construction and engineering. It also maintains the HAPS Academy, which provides foods, computer applications, digital communications systems, parenting and child development, allied health, life management, early childhood education and cosmetology subjects. The school s TAB Academy is based on technical, arts and business fields of study. It also operates exceptional children s and guidance and counseling departments. The school employs a team of support service professionals that includes social workers, crisis intervention specialists, school nurses, and dropout and attendance mediators.
