Internal medicine practitioners
Krystal Speights, MA, CCC-SLP
I decided to become a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I have a passion for helping people communicate their wants and needs efficiently as well as assisting with cognitive changes that are making it difficult to live their daily lives. I take a patient-centered approach to therapy because I want to make sure the goals/treatment plan is individualized and functional for each person that I treat. My areas of interest include treating cognitive-communicative deficits related to memory, attention, executive function and problem solving skills after a stroke, traumatic brain injury or ischemic changes to the brain. Outside of work, I enjoy trying new restaurants and traveling to different states with my friends.
