FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a private, nongovernmental and nonprofit health care network that serves more than 15 counties in Carolina. It operates hospitals that include Richmond Memorial and Montgomery Memorial and Moore Regional. The center specializes in open heart surgery and bariatric surgery, neurosurgery and neonatology. The center offers hospital services that include behavioral health, wound care, rehabilitative and surgical services. The FirstHealth of the Carolinas feature more than 600 licensed beds, skilled nursing facility, dental clinics and charitable foundations, as well as rehabilitation, sleep disorders family care and fitness centers. It additionally provides various hospice care programs. The center offers a range of orthopaedic treatments for sports injuries, joint disorders of the knee, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome fractures and dislocations inflamed joints tendonitis osteoporosis, and torn ligaments and cartilage. FirstHealth of the Carolinas is accredited by The Joint Commission. It maintains one of its hospitals in Rockingham, N.C.
