HistoryJoyce Darr, originally started her business as Essential Touch in a nail salon in High Point, NC where she rented a room to offer facial services. In 2005, she relocated to State St in Greensboro, changed the name to The Skin Care Center where she has continued to grow. In 2010 Joyce helped to open and co-found a med-spa in High Point: The Skin and Laser Center of High Point and taught esthetics at The Fila Academy. In February of 2012 Joyce received her certification in Oncology skincare and has since added The Oncology skincare clinic to her business. Which has allowed her to offer facials to people suffering from the effects of cancer treatments.
