After completing his general practice residency at Robert Wood Johnson hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, he furthered his skill set with a 2 year implant course at NYU in New York City. He then continued to work in New Jersey as a general dentist providing family and cosmetic dentistry, including endodontics and implants for 6 years before moving down to North Carolina.At Cary Smiles, Dr. Shah and the team provide a variety of preventive and general oral health services, including treatment of sleep apnea, endodontics, implants and orthodontic treatment with Invisalign.Patients can also access restorative dentistry, such as crowns and same-day restorations, as well as cosmetic dentistry, including teeth whitening, veneers, and dental bonding.Dr. Shah and his wife, a physician, recently relocated to our beautiful area to be closer to their family in Cary. He subsequently enrolled at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery.Following graduation, Dr. LaMura served at various private practices in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut before relocating to North Carolina in 2013.Throughout his career, Dr. LaMura has enhanced his professional skills and knowledge.
