This was historical & the history is interesting. We were near the area so decided to drive there to see if we could see the lights. It was beautiful though we never saw the lights.

It's a lookout... on the side of the road... on the way up the mountain... You can see BOTH directions and there is a LARGE pull-out area with some good and clear signs about what you are looking...
