History

Archetype Brewing was founded in 2017 by co-owners Brad Casanova and Steven Anan at their original location on Beacham's Curve in West Asheville. As Head Brewer, Anan brews mindfully crafted Belgian and American-inspired beer with passion and a focus on local ingredients. In March of 2019, Archetype Brewing opened its second space in Asheville, at 174 Broadway.
