I became a urologist because it is a fast-advancing field that embraces innovation such as minimally invasive procedures, robotics and lasers. Urology is extremely satisfying to me personally as it really helps improve patients' quality of life and is often life-saving. My philosophy of care is one of guiding patients through often difficult medical decisions by providing options, insight and transparency. That way, patients can make informed choices and have realistic expectations and goals. I enjoy general urology, treatment of stone disease, incontinence and surgical procedures. Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family. I also enjoy outside activities such as hiking, running and most sports. I enjoy pickleball as my current outside interest. I am an avid reader of science fiction.
