Dr. Ziqiang Zhu is a board certified internist (American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Obesity Medicine) working in Queens, NY. Dr Zhu attended Zhejiang University School of Medicine and Peking Union Medical College in China and graduated with honor. He completed Internal Medicine residency training at the New York Medical College/Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. Besides clinical practice, Dr. Zhu is interested in medical research. He received postdoctoral training at University of Louisville in Kentucky and later at National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Maryland. His research focused on the novel therapies for type II diabetes, bone marrow transplantation and immunotherapy for metastatic cancer. Dr. Zhu published over 30 original papers and has been invited multiple times to speak in national and international conferences. In 2017, He joined Mount Sinai Elmhurst Hospital Center as a faculty member in Department of Medicine. He is also affiliated with New York Presbyterian Queens. Dr. Zhu's private office located in downtown Flushing at 133-02 41st Ave. The staff speak English, Mandarin, Indonesian, Malay and Taiwanese.
