Founded in 1947, Whitestone Community Volunteer Ambulance Service, formerly known as Whitestone Community Ambulance Service, provides a range of health care services. It serves Whitestone, Beechhurst, Malba, Robinwood and Clearview communities in New York. The center offers blood pressure screening and ambulatory services. It also conducts blood donations. Whitestone Community Volunteer Ambulance Service administers the Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) program, which is sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
